Epic Everywhere
Where do we see Epic in the future? Many locations in Tucson, the state
of Arizona, around the United States and even in other countries.
This concept has been coined, “Multi‐Site”. It is the overreaching vision of Epic Church to be a church which transforms the world through gathering together, connecting in community and serving those around us so our cities can be radically transformed.
We see growth not as a luxury or a by-product of doing something cool. We see growth as the command from Jesus to bear much fruit. We intend to grow as God uses His gospel to transform the lives of individuals thus adding to the community of Epic.
We will multiply through the expanding to locations where Epic will gather, and through the multiplication of new faith communities in partnerships with other churches and institutions like the North American Mission Board, the Southern Baptist Convention, and various other networks.
Our future aims at building the Kingdom of God through the power of the triune God. We do not desire to make our name great but rather the name of Jesus. We will use whatever means necessary to facilitate the expansion of the Kingdom be it multiple sites of Epic, the starting of new faith communities or the addition of current offerings of existing Epic gatherings.
We will not compromise the command given by Jesus to reach those who do not know the love of the powerful life changing gospel and to continue facilitating the creation of disciples who are able to live their faith out in their city.
